I love that I ordred something 4 days ago, paid for more expensive shipping so it would get here faster and its still not here. It shipped from about 3 hours south of where I live in Texas and the last tracking update shows it being in Memphis, TN. Amazing working USPS!

When I move soon I'm really going to miss my upstairs neighbor who owns a 70+ pound dalmatian who gets 99% of his exercise from running back and forth across the apartment since she only really takes him outside to use the bathroom.

Finally starting to at least feel a bit more positive about moving next month. I've just about gone through all of my stuff and have somewhat of an idea of what I'm taking with me and what is going in the garbage. Definitely puts into perspective exactly what I own.

I'm looking forward to when I'm finally out of this apartment and settled at my dad's house so that I can finally focus on something else mentally for a change. I definitely think a change of scenery is going to help a fair bit overall.

Found some of my old movie ticket stubs earlier. I'm really happy that these still exist because I thought they were lost. I know I have a lot more somewhere, but these are definitely some of the older ones.

Going through all of the stuff that has been sitting in my closet for years and gradually getting rid of things is kind of a freeing feeling. It feels good to clean out a lot of this junk, but I've also found a lot of cool things in the process.

Finding a bunch of nearly 30 year old letters from an online friend I had back in ~1997-1998 is wild. Haven't spoken to or thought about them in a very long time, but I hope that life is treating them well.

Trying to balance staying informed with current events and not watching the news incessantly or doom scrolling is maddening. I want to keep myself informed about the insanity going on in the world, but I also don't want to completely destroy my mental health any worse than necessary.
