Controversial take: I don’t think using AI to help you write is the worse thing in the world. Why? Because as someone with ADHD I get burnt out after a long writing session. Sometimes my brain can’t think of the right word I want to use. AI can help with that. It’s not about using AI, it’s the how.

The thing I love most about my MFA cohort is when one of them gives a note that totally unlocks a scene I’ve been struggling with. I cannot stress enough how important having a writers group is! I wouldn’t be nearly as good a writer without their support.
