This is ridiculous! Tariffs are extremely detrimental. Our country has lost confidence, our economy is weak. The bond market is very concerned because we are only adding to the debt, with no plan to pay it down. The next thing to watch for is tourism numbers.

I watched an interesting interview on PBS last night. The theory that Trump won was because the number of right wing podcasts. The GOP discovered that younger voters get their information from them. While I’m from a different generation, the DNC needs to launch this new strategy.

You’re correct. Clinton let many government workers go and was able to paid off the national debt. However we paid the price by not being prepared for 911. Bush made a mess of things and drove up the National Debt and started three wars.
