Public trust is not a renewable resource. Our health agencies must be unwavering in their commitment to evidence, transparency, and integrity. Anything less jeopardizes the public’s ability to make informed decisions and ultimately puts more people at risk.
As public health citizens, we rely on agencies like the CDC for science-based guidance. But last night’s change to its “Vaccines & Autism” page - now hinting at a possible vaccine link - deeply undermines that trust. When credible institutions shift in ways that echo anti-vax rhetoric, we all lose.

The problem is that these guys just can‘t take a condiment.

Republicans BLOCKED it. So Trump won't use emergency funds to keep SNAP running, and Republicans won't let any bills pass. Shameful.

Since food banks will likely be overwhelmed, we might consider setting up volunteer overflow food banks at local Democratic Party offices. Showing values of kindness and generosity to our community members in need would go a long way toward countering the false narrative that has been spread.
