Between Dexter: Resurrection and Murderbot I’ve come to realise something obvious - if you want to succeed, cast David Dastmalchian.

I really enjoyed it this! My thoughts:

*You could devote entire shows to what went wrong with T3 and Salvation. They’re not interesting films but it is interesting that they missed the mark by so far.

*Is Cameron the most successful sequel director ever? It’s actually nuts how good he is.
Thanks so much to @travisjj.bsky.social for being our first guest and talking Terminator with us!
The good folks at @scifrightspod.bsky.social have their first guest! Unfortunately, their options were limited, so it's me. But if you wanna here me, @liamdunn82.bsky.social and @lindsayhallam.bsky.social dig into the entire Terminator franchise, smash that link.

“I know a lot of talented people worked on it… but fuck them!”

I laughed so hard hahaha @travisjj.bsky.social you just killed me man.
This Terminator ranking is absolutely my bag @scifrightspod.bsky.social

Guess I’m watching Tombstone again 😢

Well it’s neck and neck here in WA (not for winning the election but for becoming the opposition).

I really hope Basil Zempilas loses. Not just today. Every day.

My little girl is utterly obsessed with Halloween. She is currently loving The Nightmare Before Christmas (while rocking a pretty tiara).

Jesus Christ. Gene Hackman 😢

Driving down the freeway and suddenly a tarp and two pallets came flying out the back of a trailer and flipped down the freeway final destination style. Cars were running into them and swerving off the road. Terrifying stuff. No one seemed hurt or anything but a very close call. Scary!

I don’t know when Notes started autofilling math equations for you but it needs to stop immediately. It’s absolutely useless and a gigantic hindrance to my productivity. The answers it spits out feel very AI-adjacent given how absurd they are.

Somehow arguing with some bloke on threads about diving related stuff and noticed that the way they write is this weird mesh of confidence and incoherence.
Are people filtering everything through AI these days?

Spotted in the wild.

You know you’re full-blown batshit crazy if you’re importing US conspiracy theories to Perth.

I’m enjoying Dexter: Original Sin except for Christian Slater really not working for me as Harry. Therefore, in my head cannon, I’ve decided Harry in the original series (James Remar) is an unreliable memory of Dexter’s. His dad as stoic and wise mentor as opposed to Slater’s anxiety-ridden mess.

I wonder what goes on in guys like Trump or Musk’s head. History says that they’ll wind up killing themselves in a bunker or hanging to death in front of a cheering crowd.
Why do they think they’re so special that it won’t all end horribly for them and their families?

Wow, this Peter Dutton bloke is a real dickhead ay

My brief trip to Sydney got my thinking about these fun jump rocks.
If you’ve never been it’s a nice walk from Cowan station through some gorgeous bushland.

I think the funniest part about Elon giving a Nazi salute is how fucking pathetic he looks doing it. The man might be the most uncoordinated and unathletic person on the planet.

Ahh yes, another uneventful day where nothing of note happened and everything is swell.

It got hot today.

My little girl looking all rad

Came home today and my little girl shouted at me ‘Daddy I saw a shark!’
So, I guess you could say I’m happy with how my parenting is going.
