Path Obscured, 2024

This is a recent drawing made on a Masonite panel. I’ve been using scraps from a large very old watchmaker’s blueprint as collage elements. I love the deepness of the blue.

I also think that Lists and Packs should have somewhat finite themes. Like I obviously enjoy art but a list that is just “all artists” will quickly be mostly things I’m not as interested in.

Starter Packs are great but I do take a cautious approach to anything that asks me to follow any collection of accounts all at once. I tend to go through the listed accounts and only follow those that look interesting to me. Auto-follows just lead to too much noise overall.

Busy Sigil

I got a stack of thin Masonite panels cheap from the thrift store so gave one a test run tonight. It’s been quite some time since I worked on something other than paper. It was nice to have some extra forgiveness for scratching back at paint layers.

Image shows the detail from a drawing and a text excerpt: I’ve already expressed how I’m prone to chasing tangents down rabbit holes to often find new rabbit holes along the way. I have a habit of looking one thing up on Wikipedia to then end up multiple tabs deep in discovery. Rabbits live in warrens after all, which are by nature interconnected pathways and structures.
