It’s something I should get back to. Paul inspired me and taught me a lot about watercolour painting. He liked to use a pen when dry to add some touches here and there. On holidays he used postcard watercolour paper and posted his paintings to people as original postcards. A lovely thing

A friend of mine, Paul, used to do that. He called them fleeting glimpses. Warm ups for the day. Kept daily journals full of his thoughts and feelings and small sketches. Bigger ones too. They were fascinating. Sadly he is no longer with us. Great thing to do Jack and you’re very good!
