Sounds like they're overthinking it. Every new Bond is a notional reboot. Craig's Bond had Connery's car but didn't (iirc) reference Lazenby's marriage to Rigg's Contessa, though they used the song... I'd be more worried about rumours Bezos wants a part in it for his new wife.
