Thanks Misha for the shout-out!
It has been a truly mind-opening journey. WHOLISTIC is one step towards whole-organism neuroscience and a true physiological observatory - with extensions on the way! I am continually amazed by what the data reveals - so much remains to be discovered and mined.

Excited to present WHOLISTIC, which extends the concept of whole-brain functional imaging to the entire body. Pioneering work by incredibly talented Virginia Ruetten @vmsruetten.bsky.social, this platform reveals whole-organism cellular dynamics in vivo.

Check out what we're working on at Olio Labs!

70% of patients taking GLP-1's (like Ozempic) are women, but they experience >2x side effect rates than men.

What is driving this difference?

We combine human EMR data, mouse & rat behavior, and scRNAseq to figure it out:

This guy.
Imagine a world where nations help instead of trying to occupy each other.
We would all be residents of our tiny Earth in this endless universe.
There would be no foreigners anymore.
Think of the joy and belonging that would spread everywhere.
