Momma killed it last night. I spend so much time working with huge arena bands who lip sync to prerecorded vocals and use computers to make everything sound perfect, I almost forgot how refreshing it is to just be in a room with other humans playing, singing, and sharing art.

Making a spaceship game and teaching myself Unreal in the process. Here's spaceship prototype #1 with a fun barrel roll mechanic. Until now, all my gamedev experience has been in music/audio. If anyone wants to teach me Unreal, I'll trade you for instrument/music composition/audio lessons!

Just got the dumbest haircut of my life. Might even be worse than the time my mom accidentally buzzed a bald spot in the back of my head and had to cover it up with mascara before sending me off to the first day of fourth grade.

My son shreds on piano, but couldn’t seem more disinterested when I suggest he start a band. Then last month he asked, “How do I get my 808s to sound boomy like Future?” What?! He’s been secretly making beats for his rapper friends at school! And they’re actually really good! Couldn’t be more proud.

In addition to composing music for media, I do audio visual engineering for arena concerts and professional sports teams. Yesterday I rigged up a camera and mic to the chest of the Seattle Kraken goalie to broadcast live during their Skills Showcase. Check out this POV!
