Do you believe most of the downstream effects are caused by neuroinflammation specifically or do you think there are other specific mechanisms that cause these issues?

You really should make t-shirts with that printed on them. I’d buy one.

And I hurt someone I care about. Fuck. Spectrum shit is all funny on sitcoms but it’s decidedly less cute in reality. Sure, I can pick out complex
patterns by feel, but what’s really fun is watching in slow motion while misunderstandings motherfuck relationships no matter how hard you try. 😖😖😖

Ugghhhhh just made this situation about 100x harder for everyone. Why why why. I need a translator by my side when in serious conversations to make sure I catch the switches between technical/literal/idiomatic usage. Really. Just fuck me. Not joking- someone needs to make an app. I buy it.

It’s a bit scary. If you look at Europe, where the problem is already becoming severe, the issue has driven domestic politics far to the right, in some cases to ethnofascism. I’m not sure there is any way to mollify that population and migration is just ramping up.

The scale of this is just mind blowing. Current estimates are 200-400 million by 2050 - that’s 1 out of every 35-45 people on the planet. Wars will start of this. Migrants are already being used as economic weapons; country x collects migrants and helps them illegally enter a rival nation.

To be clear my position is not that we seal the borders and build the wall or whatever, but there has to be some coherent plan to manage the influx. Right now the GOP and Dems seem to prefer posturing over meaningful policy.

This is going to happen, and likely sooner than expected.
