Aston Villa since 1972.
Next week. But we’ll have to be much better to have any chance of beating New Zealand. We’ve got really good depth but I’m not convinced Borthwick knows his best XV at present. Watching the A team get battered by them today, has not helped my confidence

I suppose on balance they started to slowly, can’t give the AB’s a 17 point lead and expect to win.

As for England, think there’s more questions than answers. Think they thought they just had to turn up to win and not do the ugly stuff. Was disjointed and I’ve no clue what team we’ll go with

Not me. Purely neutral, no Scottish blood in me whatsoever to the best of my knowledge 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿💪🏻

Missed chance. They really ought to have won it with the possession they had second half. Russell kicking, when it should have gone through the hands and Graham bouncing it after doing the hard work were the decisive moments.

I said that very sentence on the way to the ground, Fin was almost penalised for being a Lion which I don’t really like. As for 8’s, I’d like them to put their trust in CCS for a period or maybe play him at 6. Hopefully one of him or Ilione can solve the issue

Finally, we need to trust in Fin at 10. Ford is very predictable in that he’ll take it to the line and pass or he’ll whack it high, he’ll never take on a defence. Makes him easier to defend I imagine.

We’ll have to be better to beat New Zealand than we were today

Change personnel and leave one of them out. I’m excited by Pepper, love Henry off the bench too. Like you I’m not convinced by Tommy at 13, his inability to find the wingers today was infuriating. Couple of other matters, Freddie’s USP is taking high balls and he dropped most today, bit good. And

As I said in my post, I reckon we were about 40% of what we’re capable of. I thought we were very clunky attacking wise, very good defensively. I’m not sure the balance of the back row is right, we need a more physical presence and I love every one of them who played today, so it’s not easy to

Blimey you’ve not changed have you? 😂😂😂

Chin up, we’re back on track for me

Do you not think Konsa should have been first to the ball from Onana’s pass? This is where I get annoyed with him, I can’t imagine Evans, McNaught, McGrath or Teale being so timid on a 60-40 in their favour.

Onana is frustrating I agree, I just think there’s a player in there though

I also think that the West Midlands Police have a huge amount to answer for. For me, I just don’t think they want the hassle and this is a cop out. It’s not an easy event to police, I get it, but then if you’re in the force it’s not meant to be easy is it? Get on with it as Cloughie would have said

As soon as the draw was made they should have resolved it either way. Instead, as is happening with most things with this government, they’re trying to be all things to everyone and it’s ended up as a fudge. I was never going in any case, but if I was I wouldn’t be now.

Like I said yesterday and this is grossly unfair to the majority of fans, just play it behind closed doors or in another country, also behind closed doors. I’m sick of the position the club finds itself in through no fault of its own and I can only see either of these as a solution
October 19, 2025 at 12:08 PM
Doesn’t mean he can’t turn up and “create” tension and whatever outside. I’m sure he has absolutely no interest in going into the stadium itself

The decision, whatever it was meant to be, should have been made weeks ago and with full transparency as to the reasons why it was taken. Like a lot of things these days, they’ve just fudged it. Useless

I don’t think I’ve ever watched all of it, seen clips. It is incredibly sad how kind of no one thought about how to look after after they won the World Cup. A lot were just left to deal with whatever they experienced themselves, without any support.
