About to start our 2nd-last roll of Edinburgh District Council bin-bags, popped through a letter box ~30 years ago, long before container bins, bin hubs and gull-proof sacks.

Yes, the GWW collection has some amazingly detailed photos of Edinburgh. This one of Leith from Calton Hill is one of my favourites. I think it's from the 1870s - there is industry where there are now tenements.
