I heard Sebastian Gorka, Donald Trump's 'special adviser', oh BBC's 'World at One'. He is a highly unpleasant, aggressive, bully. The interesting thing to me, though, is that he is SO unpleasant, he must turn off neutrals who might actually be prepared to give the Trump administration a hearing.

The Rubio comment about America maybe having to move on, if a ceasefire cannot be brokered between Russia and Ukraine might end up meaning that Donald Trump's undertaking to end the war "within 24 hours" altering to "I'll leave the conflict festering for a potentially infinite period of time".

@asharangappa.bsky.social Hi Asha, this is David in England. I see you used to work for the FBI. I know you can't speak from 'inside' anymore, but will anyone from inside the CIA and FBI being doing stuff to try and mitigate the fact that they are being hollowed-out by Trump?
