The US should not be allowed to make Australia complicit in nuclear war. 50 years ago Whitlam believed that and he was right.

It’s time to end AUKUS. Close Pine Gap.

Lest we forget the horrors and the human and global costs of war. Never again.

The white poppy is included in this image to represent our commitment to peace, non-violence, and meaningful justice.

Offshore detention is a moral and financial black hole, bought to you by the Labor Party.

The Australian is surprised with the answers today when their pollster asked people, “what do you want most, food, health and housing or nuclear submarines?”

Spoiler alert, it’s not nuclear submarines.

Cairo Takeaway has always been more than a restaurant—they’re a community hub that’s never been afraid to stand for Palestinian rights.

Now they’re facing a defamation lawsuit. Legal costs are mounting and they need our support.

We make no apologies for blocking Labor’s disastrous bill to kill FOI. The task for this Parliament is to make government more transparent and more accountable. Right now the Albanese government is the greatest obstacle to that.

The IDF is a State Sponsor of Terrorism. Labor's new laws allow them to be listed as such, so let's get on with it!

This new report on digital inclusion shows 1 in 5 Australians are digitally excluded, it's 40% for First Nations people, 45% for public housing residents, 67% for older Australians. As services move online, digital exclusion = exclusion from healthcare, education & opportunity.

When the ADF’s culture of bullying and harassment results in thousands of unreported sexual assaults, it shouldn’t take a class action for survivors to receive justice.

ADF leadership and Minister Marles are missing in action and women and young recruits are paying the price.

Kath and Jenny lost their sons following illegal robodebts, the ongoing secrecy of the NACC is compounding their trauma. They deserve answers and accountability.

Just 35 days to the 10 December social media ban deadline and Labor announces 2 more platforms being roped in - they’re making it up on the fly - 2.5 million young people are being disrespected and everyone’s privacy treated like a joke

The spookiest tale of all - Pauline Hanson at Trump's Halloween party with Gina Rinehart and not turning up to Parliament and missing votes in the Senate on her party's own amendments

When governments viciously prosecute people who tell the truth they scream the truth about themselves.

Israel’s pursuit of a senior IDF lawyer over the leaking of the horrific torture video of Palestinian prisoners tells that truth.

It won’t slow the extinction of the greater glider or the regent honeyeater to know that Minister Watt decides the project killing them is ‘in the national interest’.

You know what's exempt from Labor's enviro laws?

AUKUS.

Apparently the US alliance controls even this. The damage cause by a nuclear waste dump can literally be written off if the Environment Minister wants to.

Today reporting in the Guardian highlights the "minimum of 30 Nitazene-related overdoses in Australia since 2021". We can’t pretend this is not happening, responses start with greater funding for harm reduction and access to pill testing.

Evidence of mass killings by RSF in El-Fasher, Sudan, are chilling. They must be a wake up call for the rest of the planet too. Countries must be pressured to stop sending weapons into their proxy war in Sudan. It starts with acknowledging the horror.

BREAKING: NACC Commissioner finally bows to public pressure and steps aside from all defence-related corruption referrals.

This is a major-general backdown from Commissioner Brereton who, up until now, tried to stare down the growing public revolt over the conflicts of interest.

Powerful moments in the ACT Legislative Assembly as they get set to overturn the Catholic Church's disgraceful precedent in DP v Bird that was harming survivors of child sexual abuse.

The Commissioner's report highlights proven approaches from Scotland, Netherlands & here in Australia. Community-based, therapeutic alternatives work. Locking up traumatised children doesn't. Enough with treating this as a political football, it's time to listen to the evidence
