Interessanterweise sind zwei andere, in Wahrheit mindestens ebenso langfristige Themen politisch offenbar leichter auszuschlachten: Migration und Bevölkerungsentwicklung. Die Menge an politisch-medialer Aufmerksamkeit, die diesen Themen in den USA und Europa derzeit entgegengebracht wird, steht in keinem Verhältnis zu den realen Problemen. Es ist aber offenbar einfacher, Menschen mit dem Bild vom bösen Ausländer, der einem Arbeit, Lebensraum und Kultur wegnehmen will, der einen mit Terror bedroht, zu emotionalisieren, als mit der leider sehr realen Bedrohung, dass substanzielle Teile der bewohnten Welt im Meer versinken könnten.

IDF has informed the U.N. that the entire population of northern Gaza should relocate to the southern half of the territory within 24 hours, the U.N. spokesman, Stéphane Dujarric, said late on Thursday night.
The U.N. says the Israeli military told it that all of northern Gaza has 24 hours to move south.
A U.N. spokesman said such a movement would turn “what is already a tragedy into a calamitous situation.”

Ich beschäftige mich schon eine Weile mit Desinformation. Egal ob Klima, Krise oder Krieg, immer waren zwischen den Social Media Posts, die als verlässliche Quelle dienten, eine Menge Fake News dabei. Aber aktuell hat das auf Twitter bzw. X eine neue Dimension erreicht. 😐
