Just now realising this ISNT a remake of the 1960 Korean but a book written by some American woman in 2024 that is essentially the exact same plot.
How is this a thing? Surely should have been flagged by publishers?

Book number 2 for the year is complete. A fascinating read into the life of Serge Gainsbourg, a man who’s music I was somewhat familiar with (Melody) but whose notoriety, fame and character always intrigued me. Especially after seeing the clip of the boys serenading him over and over. #booksky

It’s been a busy week for films. A lot of comfort time rewatches but also some new bits.
Was really surprised by Run Lola Run which I thought was going to be something very different to what it was, and in particular was elevated by its editing style. #filmsky
