Birthday well spent: 63 today; celebrated with Ruth and my granddaughters, a cinema trip, and lunch. Their handmade cards? Absolute masterpieces of stick-figure art. I don't know if I should frame them or submit them to the Tate Modern.

Posted our letters to Santa today before stopping off for haircuts. Granny had already cut Grandpa’s hair this morning, so he’s ahead of the game. Feeling festive, tidy, and ready for Moana.
