I sometimes have to Google where you've been. Driven past the Proof Range turn off hundreds of times and never knew there was public access. Also just discovered that it appears army personel live there!

A revegetation project with endemic species might be more appropriate. Trying to grow crops on that kind of soil is just going to make the problem worse. There's some marginal cropping land south of Whyalla that's the same where the Myall ends and the Mallee starts. Should never have been ploughed.
