I spent most of my 22-years in the Army as an aviator in and out of line units flying OH-58's and UH-60's.We lost more aircrews in peacetime training accidents than combat. It's a very dangerous business. Having the President smear them as their families are freshly mourning is unforgivable.

People could look to see what Schumer is doing instead of reflexively posting "and he's doing nothing" and then despairing about the Dems, etc. etc. Amazing that people don't see they have options about how to respond or how to frame things and that there are bad choices with bad consequences.

Being a person with deadly, incurable cancer who is nonetheless still alive for an indefinite timeframe gives me an interesting metaphor that helps me deal with things like large-scale corruption in government or commerce.
