#Habs moribund powerplay was the difference against the Bruins tonight. Better overall team effort and Davidson made a sound debut with the Canadiens.

The #Habs last few games are a reminder the rebuild should not be considered over and extended absences for Newhook and Guhle are tough blows. Goaltending is not yet there for a serious cup run and the Canadiens need to add size and grit to complement the abundant skill. I remain confident in HuGo.

#Habs went from likely their best overall performance of the season to their worst versus the Kings. They need a full 60-minute effort Thursday against Dallas. The Stars play very much like Los Angeles.

Saturday night's game was probably the #Habs most complete of the season. Yes, it was close until into the third period but they continued to have chances. Montembeault was solid.

#Habs need to play a full 60 minutes against New Jersey on Thursday. The first period against the Flyers Tuesday night was very poor with just two shots on net and, overall, Philadelphia doubled the Canadiens in shots. They were lucky to emerge with a point.

Poor Kaiden Guhle, can't stay healthy. Here's to a speedy recovery from this latest injury. A chance for Struble to gain playing time with the #Habs. Maybe Engstrom will get a look after a solid preseason for the Canadiens.

Very satisfying win by #Habs tonight. Dobes was sensational and the team skated Detroit into the ice much of the game. Loving Bolduc and Kapanen. Matheson had a strong game again. Slaf scored the kind of PP goal he needs to have as his trademark. Hopefully second half Slaf emerges in first half.

The NHL season is done and the Panthers have captured their second straight Cup. Oilers have two of the most gifted players in the world but have not come up with the winning formula to parlay their skills into championships. Questionable goaltending but you don't win with three goals in two games.

Not an Oilers fan but appreciated Skinner's honesty about the team's loss after letting a two-goal lead slip away. He took his share of blame and didn't throw anyone under the bus. Much different than in Toronto's loss Sunday where the unproductive Matthews said there were too many passengers.

Powerplay goals were the difference in #Habs loss as they exited the playoffs. Five extra games of experience for the youngest team in the post-season. Lots of intel for management to prepare for the draft and transactions this summer. This team wasn't even supposed to be in the playoffs! So proud!

One of the most exciting and complete #Habs games of the season. Keep the pedal to the metal for Sunday!

#Habs were so close to winning this game tonight. Capitals were running all over the place making hits but once the Canadiens got into the game, they were the better team.

#Habs went beyond my expectations for 2024-2025. I expected them to be just out of the playoffs. That was more ambitious than oddsmakers. Canadiens were predicted to get 76 points for bottom 5 placement. Congrats to HuGo for putting this team together and MSL for coaching the club into post-season.

Just what I was afraid of for the #Habs. The only consolation is Ivan to see a lot more Demidov.

I predicted at the start of the season that the #Habs would finish just out of the playoffs. Now that they have a chance to get in, it will be highly disappointing if they can't take that final step tonight to clinch a post-season spot. The rebuild is ahead of schedule, but the prize is right there!

Just as I thought, Monday's game is going to be a must win for the #Habs. Can't count on the out-of-town scoreboard for help. Washington should have been trying to send a message to their potential first round opponent.

Dear Capitals, you have one job to do today. Thanks, from #Habs fans.
