We describe a way to objectively determine the number of migration states of T cells.
A Systematic Approach to Analyze T Cell Migration: Application to Mouse Melanoma Tumors
The results show that a minimum of two migration speeds can be rigorously identified from the data with cells switching between a fast, persistent migratory state, and a slow, random migration state.....

Fun contributing modeling and analysis with @alonso-matilla to this study from Danny Lew and Alison Wirsching
Wirshing, Lew et al. @mit.edu address how mothers partition growth equally among their buds in the multi-budding yeast Aureobasidium pullulans. Equal partitioning stems directly from effective equalization of #polarity sites. rupress.org/jcb/article/...

Spent much of yesterday at Capitol Hill yesterday advocating for American Science, one of America’s greatest gifts to the world. Thank you to Sophia Schilling from Rep. Betty McCollum’s office and Griffin Wong from Rep. Kelly Morrison’s office. We need to grow discovery and innovation in America.
