Moreover, architectural details in the images suggest they were taken before certain Munich buildings were altered or obstructed in late 1838.

- two years before the traditional landmark year of 1839, when photography was publicly introduced via Daguerre and Talbot. Her findings are supported by material evidence - specifically long hidden handwritten inscriptions on the photographs which explicitly date them to 1837.
