I know that some people love Christmas, and, to an extent, so do I. However things happen in life which affect how we think of times like Christmas.

I went on holiday on my own for the first time since my wife died 4 yrs ago.
I drove from Glasgow to Suffolk, where I was born & lived until I was 5. Although I only lived there for a short time, it has always been special to me, as one of my grandmothers came from there. Long journey but worth it
