Here in Idaho they break a few laws. Sending inmates to another state is a crime, it could also be seen as cruel and unusual treatment by moving them far enough they can't have visitors. Then they are forced to labor in Texas. Inmates from Idaho, sent to Texas. For profit prisons are criminal.

So they should defund the program. Makes perfect sense. What about the billions the pentagon has lost several times. What about the ever increasing military budget which is a money pit. Every bomb dropped on others could feed and house many here.

Perhaps it's time to look for a new idea on governing. That doesn't create classes to facilitate the 'us vs. them' pattern.
Leaders that lead at the job sites, that have been the common person. Those who could lose as much as those they govern.

I guess prayer is the cure all. Because it worked so well in the past.

As a gamer for a long time I really don't care for steam. It stands between me and the games I have legally purchased. I bought games on disc and installed them before. Now I have to run them through steam to play them. They have subscriptions in some places. I will not pay them to access my games.
