Road calming measures *do* work. A number were recently installed in my neighbourhood, including a number of school zones, and they have reduced speeding very significantly. But most *drivers* don’t like them because they make drivers “feel” less safe (which is how they work) […]

oh it's just another "he said she said"—yes, and we're learning that in the vast majority of cases "he" was lying, so isn't it so interesting that in such a culture a phrase was popularized for such situations to mean "no way of knowing the truth here, let's not investigate or change anything"
