Graduated from 40 years as an appellate lawyer to being a gardener. Influenced by Voltaire: "Il faut cultiver notre jardin."
I think that formula predicted an easy win for Gisler, the Democrat, but it wasn't easy -- only 197 votes ahead.

Giving up stuff for Christmas is the new "optimism"?

My guess is it would result in a 6-8 seat loss in Texas.

I think that a 13% switch in Texas would negate their gerrymander in three or four of the five new districts. Not sure what it does in other areas of that state.

In Athens, of course.

Tell me how many election-day votes are in, and I’ll hazard a guess. Let’s see, (EV/3 x 7) x .65 > 346 and Dem wins. Right?

Damn near one a week. To many.

Great. Actual evidence, available in discovery (or when leaked), has a liberal bias.

“He’s great and she’s great,” Trump said at the White House. “They’re both great people.”

In NY (and I'm upstate), that's a death knell for both. Especially because Trump has already screwed small farmers (I watched soybeans wither on the roadside fields) and looks to be screwing them again.

That's not what I've heard. But does anybody know?

In the Southern District of New York, federal district judges presided (preside?) over naturalization ceremonies. And they almost universally said it was their favorite thing to do.

You are comparing two very different things. There is no vaccines section in the constitution. And there IS an explicit provision requiring birthright citizenship. And saying what you’re saying undermines the rule of law. Is that your aim?

Principle? It’s in the constitution.

Want to change it - amend the constitution.
