Three recent movies. Bugonia was the only one that worked for me. Hedda reminded me too much of Saltburn. I’m 1-4 now with Ari Aster (I liked Midsommar)

And Peter Yates’s The Hot Rock, a Robert Redford heist movie. It’s very good like most all of his movies.

Watching 60 Minutes like a Hitchcock fan watching Rope

NW Tear Gas Squad (1940) on the TCM app. 55 minutes long. The tagline on Letterboxd reads “the first explosive story of the law's chemical warfare against gangdom ... and the suicide squad that wages it!” so it’s going to be an action packed 55 minutes.

Halloween viewing. A grim and downbeat cinematic spinoff of Dark Shadows. It’s one of the best vampire films of the 70s. Bela and Boris in a 40s sci-fi, and my seasonal watches of Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein and the Charlie Brown Halloween special

NW House of Dark Shadows (1970) and this shot is incredible

Hahaha how much does that thing cost? The Cinemark M3GAN 2.0 bucket that’s taking up shelf space is pretty sad in comparison
