It’s very annoying Larry Summers is considered a genius when it takes him years to figure out stuff that is instantly obvious to the median lefty shitposter

Tom Friedman's advice to Zohran is annoying across the board but I want to highlight this classic Friedmanism; a solid majority of Zohran's likely future constituents actually live east of the East River in Brooklyn and Queens. Very NYT to think Manhattan is all that counts!

I dream of writing a roman a clef about the millennial Brooklyn left media scene and being precisely this obvious about who everyone is based on

Earlier this year I wrote about Stephen Miller's whole deal—how his privileged upbringing in Santa Monica was shaped from the beginning by the labor of Latin American immigrants, and how he experienced status anxiety when his family had to live among them. www.thenation.com/article/poli...

After 10/7 we got sanctimonious lectures about how we need to value all lives equally. Ok, then write 25,000 equally mad columns about every two Palestinians who have been killed, and about the “cult of violence” (the overwhelming majority of the Israeli public) that supports it.

No, Jesse, I don't want to go on your podcast; normally when someone ignores an invitation that's a cue to stop asking.

Jesse and his buddies are all furious about this but the truth is this is going to be his entire legacy. His many haters warned him for like 5 years that his work was going to empower the right’s crackdown on trans people. We were all right and he’ll never erase what he did.
