My wife and I have been watching from South Africa! We can’t catch it live because of the time difference, but we’ve been loving it, thanks for all the work you put into it! Brothers K is our household favourite, we even gave our son the middle name Alyosha!

I see your point, but I’ve also noticed that the most dehumanising theologies arise not from a lack of transcendence, but from a lack of immanence. When we lean too heavily on transcendence without being anchored in the incarnation, we too often turn a deaf ear to the cry of our neighbour.

Thanks for your thoughts. I shared the piece with a lady in our church who has a big footprint in the NGO sectors in South Africa. I hope it will encourage and motivate them.

I’m looking to connect with networks that are more actively engaged in peacemaking, reconciliation, and holistic mission. Do you have any recommendations?

What are some of the global church networks you’re connected with? I used to attend City on a Hill (Acts 29) in Melbourne and have also been part of Acts 29 networks in South Africa. However, throughout my studies, I’ve found myself growing into a more kingdom-minded theological vision.

Don’t blame the voters, blame the Biden administration and Harris’ unwillingness to detangle themselves from Zionism.

Do we have prophets today? Yes! Look no further. Spoiler alert, they’re not slick fortune tellers. They stand up to the powers and principalities.
