It’s so annoying and deeply unjust. My biggest achievement at our last school where I was a governor was to get into the attendance policy that we’d educate children about it ok not to be ok.

I’m just coming to the end of 4 and a bit years as parent governor and more recently Vice Chair at J’s school. We work really well as a board because of the different perspectives and have also seen staff governors as vital. It can be challenging but I’ve found it rewarding.
