Revenge of the Sith is supposed to be fantastic, I enjoy Salvatore who wrote Attack of the Clones, so it made sense to start at the beginning

Tbh feels like Brooks got the script late and didn't get much of a chance to dress it up, but I've never read a movie adaptation. Maybe that's par for the course

Jar Jar feels like a real character, struggling with ADHD and rarely able to keep his hands to himself. His dialogue is much worse when you have to read it.

There's a bit more on QuiGonn's background, but not much. Obi Wan comes off as a real jerk until the very end.

Then we unfortunately get the f-slur played for laughs, characters arguing over whether somebody's Chinese or Japanese, and I threw in the towel when the Jewish broom showed up.

I think the big shortcoming here is the important events in Vimes's life just happening in the background. Pterry just doesn't seem to have that touch to balance the noir/detective story with his home life, but the Watch books are still high quality and this one is a masterpiece.

Is there a list of trans that has them? I'm an alum/season ticket holder and would certainly send an email or call the athletic department encouraging them to switch.

I specifically avoid Discworld when I'm in a groove for this reason lmao

Laughed out loud numerous times, glad we got to see somewhere outside of Ankh-Morpork, but it's just less detectiving than Guards Guards, Men at Arms, or Feet of Clay.

The next three are considered some of Discworld's best and I'm excited to get to them.

Cheery is obviously trans coded, but Prachett doesn't quite drive home his point with Dee and the Low King.

The description of Wolfgang's flag and his mother's characterization of dwarfs as subhuman point to him being a standin for Nazis, but he's portrayed as just being cruel for fun.
