The “replacement” ideology is now official government policy. At its core, it’s no different than Nazi notions of Aryan supremacy.

There's a lot of cowardice. What happened to all the energy from No Kings? People are being dragged from their cars and randomly stopped in Los Angeles. Four ICE invasions today within five miles of my home.

Unfortunately you could tell them the right thing and exert all of your constitutional rights and ICE might still ignore it. I told a Guatemalan client who'd outstayed her visa about her constitutional rights, but then said it may not matter to an ICE agent. She replied, "I know." Don't shoot them.

Here is what my firm is telling our clients:
*Do not open the door or respond if an agent knocks.
*Do not answer any questions if an agent asks, except to say you won't speak without a lawyer.
*Do not sign anything.
*If you outside home, ask if you are detained. If not, then leave calmly.

Some municipal governments here are actually doing this. But it’s mostly being done by volunteers and local organizations. My firm works with a ton of immigrants and second-generation Latinos. We pass out cards that give them a script of what to say to federal agents who question them.
