The biggest lib in that rights are for all; let freedom ring

Trans rights are human rights. Woman's rights are human rights. Human rights for all or they will be for none. Reparations are owed.

hell has frozen over, and I don't think that's a good sign for NVIDIA either

American politics right now feels like someone left a loaded weapon in a pre-school, and we just keep getting updates on who's hand is on it

strategic withdrawal for mixed gains that was handled poorly is my read of this, and I'm not unhappy that 'Not-Fight' wing is eating shit across the entire coalition. It's not a win but not a loss

I don't think you are wrong, I just don't know if I trust the current Dem Senators (most of who won't even be up in 2026 so they couldn't be flipped) to be rapid nor savvy enough to undo or even mitigate the damage post 2026.

I.e., permanent rollback of non-straight, non-white rights level bad

being ruled by executives & ski-doo dealers is pathetic, just zero interest in how anything works, yeah

much as I am livid at the Senate Dems for being themselves, there is a fair argument that delaying the death of the filibuster to as close to Jan 2027 is the best possible option;

I don't believe they will of course, but minimizing the insane GOP legislation undoing the 20th Century is good

yeah just incredibly terminal senate brain that needs to go, completely unable to read modern politics
