I picked up my #ache
Threw it in a trash can
Only for it to boomerang back!

Now I wear it hidden in plain sight
Like a second skin

Waiting for true love
To come along
And knock me for six!

"What is pain?"

He chuckled. "Sounds like a trick question."

She shook her head. "Worst than that, it forces you to acknowledge something."

"I have no aches. Nothing to think about."

She smiled. "Too much?"

He drank his coffee. "I'm recovering."

A scenic town
Hidden behind sunlight
And poetry

Blending in
Through the passage of time
Only appearing to the unseen

In a moonlit reunion
When true love souls move on
Leaving the world & their #bones behind

It cracked.

Shaking shards rolled on the floor.

Clean as a whistle, of marrow and pain, it could shatter.

Like the glass below.

It quivered.

Time never stopped. #Bone got brittle.

It listened.

The memories it carried, rot it to the core.

Why understand you?
The mind muddles your art,
for one can’t know without unraveling.
I choose to savor you,
to be the one unraveled,
to be your fevered verse
undressing from your lips.
Slow-kiss your notes onto my skin,
drown my #bones in your hungry dark sea.

The sons came behind mother bear.

She looked up over the river's edge and moaned.

Beyond the twigs and mushroom-tainted logs was father.

His life was #blood and that's what the river drank, his pride.

She turned her head down and led the sons to a better place.

The knife spun.

A life undone.

Cut in the chest.

Redress a #wound.

A betrayal run deep.

The sun shine not for me.

stark and naked,
#wounded, eviscerated
love and compassion
pulled me back from ruin.

cleansed my soul,
washed away my sins;
through conviction,
my purpose stood bare.

They sat there frozen in the moonlight.

Embers flicked up in their #lambent state.

A team scared of what laid beyond the hillside resolved to stand.

The flames extinguished, their steps swift and quiet.

Their determination to fly surpassed terror.

He tried to divine the purpose of people without heads. Filing into book stores, when they cannot read. Fingering vintage vinyl, when they cannot listen. Running their hands along wooden statues, unable to express their grief. Not #ghosts, just people who have lost touch with life.

Behind her stood phantasms and ghouls.

Fear didn't grip her.

Neither did they hit her.

Those #ghosts follow and creep.

Never surpassing the edge, they linger in the shadows waiting for her fall.

"Good luck." She offers with a smile.

Everyday.

The line hits a high and swung down at the worst of time.

Heads get grabbed in despair at the burned dollar.

The #pain of uncertainty cuts deeper than any insult.

Until the next day when the wolf chugged a glass of beer and celebrated the next high.

When you look inside what do you see?

A chance.

To fight.

Hope.

A smile crossed the walls of the #soul put on a perilous journey.

They see the aftermath and we knew every nook and cranny.

Gathered in #shadow darkly, she was beautiful in her best moments, fantastic in her worst.

A lovely display of strut and confidence, she let the onlookers know how the sun reflected off her color.

The skin, a composition of fate and love, she never hid behind the world's assumptions.

I always thought that I was real, just badly broken. All that lost time, like a poorly taped together reel of film. I never sleep, even if I'm just a hand or a soft shape on a pillow. But the sun taught me that this life isn't for me. I'm just a dark echo. A #shadow.

Deep within the blink of your eye
lies #soothe & cosy
A universe of secrets it holds
closely

In its twinkle a river of dreams
arise
Where whispers of love
& silent understanding harmonise

Bathing in its tranquil sighs
Lost in the magic
where time slowly flicker flies

I keep reading posts about people who wrote applications entirely with "zero coding." They say they don't read the code and instead refine the application using increasingly precise prompts. I have some questions:

* Is the application nontrivial?

They cover us effortlessly.

In blue or yellow, black and teal.

Rainbow crested, they have the freedom to choose.

So do we when we spin in their storefronts looking to #soothe any aches and worries.

With us, pretty and bright, we walk into the roaring cheers.

A little harmony
To let the day soothe
Birds fluttering
Laughter in the air
Vibrant flowers sway
All are flowing
On a spring breeze
