Writing 25,000 accurate and quality alt tags is probably not possible on a tiny budget, even with AI assistance. Wracking my brains trying to figure out a good method.

Cafe Nero brands itself as an Italian coffee house yet looking up the origins shows it is created in the UK! It's actually quite ridiculous to have these tropey pics on the wall.

A modern marketing lesson...This is what happens when SEO services are stopped. Sharp declines from previous year and even times nobody is around to say the website has gone offline, I believe.

America is heading towards some kind of weird dystopia. How this affects advertisers and marketers regarding state pressure leading to self censorship. Criticising a president carries not only reputational risk but regulatory / career risk. I stand by Jimmy Kimmel.

I had a great month of work, especially collaborating with a digital marketing agency located North of England. However, it's sad to see analytics stats from a project I left behind at the start of this year. -44% down in organic traffic in 2025 high season so far. It's not like I didn't warn them

This is awesome and will be a massive help to us marketers in future. Although we should be asking way more complex GA4 analytics questions. www.youtube.com/watch?v=PT4w...

I like how Jet2 are trying to put the positive spin on things but I think the original ad concept is as good as gone. There's a lot worse memes than the two examples floating around. It's going to be long before things change. www.theguardian.com/media/2025/j...

That feeling of relief to overcome a GTM form tracking problem in a SquareSpace website. I still hate those dynamic thank you pages though! Solved it by using Element Visibility plus a bit of code injection.

Heads-up, this should jump the traffic levels in GA4 and other analytics tools for #ChatGPT. That's because ChatGPT finally added utm parameters for "More" sources versus just the citations. Those links used to be standard links without utm parameters. Now they contain utm_source=chatgpt.

Asked Google Gemini to help solve a GA4 issue I was having with Explore custom reports. It did ok, but considering it's made by Google, it still trips over itself on outdated info. It even apologised at one point for me correcting it.

Google, with its near monopoly, wants users to ditch websites (certainly informational sites). Google is all about keeping the user on their platform for as long as possible and it seems like it doesn't want to be a search engine anymore. Traditional SEO is dead, and we have to adapt.
