Do we still have honest GOP people in positions like that, or have they all been replaced by MAGA now?

Surprised the range was truncated. Why not a <100K and a >1 billion category?

You don't have the hiccups, rather, the hiccups have come to live with you. They will have a Thanksgiving holiday to celebrate how helpful you were when they settled here. But soon you will have to move out to a reservation.

Oops. Misunderstood that, thanks.
I guess the first question would be to what extent special forces need to be coordinated with the other activities of an area command.

Only humans? Unfair to snails! #mistersquiggle

But by the definition of SOCOM you've given it clearly *is* area-based. If you abolish SOCOM, who takes responsibility for operations in Latin America?
November 25, 2025 at 11:49 PM
I'm not sure what you mean by combatant commands but aren't they all area-based?
November 25, 2025 at 2:02 PM
You still need an organisation that thinks about how to do operations in a particular area, makes plans, etc. and there are advantages to that also being the organisation that would implement the plans. What would your constant commands be like, if not area-based?

I think I'm doing OK. Mostly.

I meant a reservoir inside the dishwasher. Which you empty into the bin when you've finished washing the dishes.
November 25, 2025 at 12:39 PM
Who would you have take SOCOM's responsibilities? Would you move away from area commands?

I think the strongest argument against SF, and elite units generally, might be the negative impact on the regular army of recruiting the best infantry into SF.

The only thing that could make it more difficult for the prosecutor would be if there were many recent cases of the executive giving orders that federal judges had stated were illegal.

Then let them fill up a reservoir which goes in the bin afterward. Nobody wants to have to rinse plates.

Dammit why aren't dishwashers also garbage disposals? It's such an obviously convenient capability.

Actually by my count AAEEAA it's 4 of 6 for Australia but that's just me being petty.

They list schizophrenia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism, and bipolar disorder. I'd say from my understanding of Hitler that's "I don't see it", "No", "Of course not, don't be an idiot," and "Yeah, maybe." Not much of a record.

The volume of a credit card is (15 mm)³. Assuming 53 mm x 85 mm x 0. 76 mm.
November 23, 2025 at 12:48 PM
Are we really working in mm, or square mm, or cubic mm? I'm not sure how to get a sensible answer in any of them but narrow it down for me.

Hmf. When mighty monsters slain you have, then your opinion matter will.

Arthur C. Clarke has a short story that covers the limits of this solution in a heartbreaking way.

There is nothing real here. The entire match is some kind of drug-fuelled nightmare-fantasy hybrid.

Are you sure it was a malfunction? Because I've just seen the paperwork and it says the test was a success.

What, I ask rhetorically, was wrong with batsfolk and bowlsfolk?
