AKA Steven E. McDonald, writer.

Musician, writer, poet mentored by Michael Harnett, mostly alone, tired and now here. Dismayed at watching the country that fought fascism to an end bowing down to fascism at home.
Foot high versions of King Charles III...what a concept!

Same thing with composing and recording music. Somehow I keep thinking I know what I'm doing now and then the latest work explains how I have no idea.

51% as I've been writing clown poetry. I feel that should be classed as not safe for humans. Do we really need more coulrouphobia triggers?

You may get something out of the upcoming FACKHAM HALL.

I did just ask Gemini to open the calendar app. Yay.

I guess I'm not making my long-awaited return to ANALOG (I read about this elsewhere.)

I'm so sorry anybody has to go through this gilded age rights crap.

I think there's more to this. And I think Johnson is in a trap.

Plus Trump seems to be in a bigger than normal panic.

Fetterman was already collaborating with the fascists. No change there. The rest are all known weak sisters.

Heh, I picked that for my monthly Prime book too. I found the setting to be interesting given my living in a desert.

The moment when you wish you had a roll of toilet paper right to hand.

On the one hand, good, an expected result.

On the other hand, this is the Trump regime and they probably won't even respond.

PM Holness got out and did a fly-over and some ground visits. It's catastrophic. It'll be a decade or more to fix. Even towards the East it's bad, though the Sandy Gully project probably helped lessen flood damage in Kingston.

The best part is that while they retained the initial phone robot part (for no reason) where it asks birthdate and zip, the company dropped set service hours, went 24/7, and hired more actual humans. Take *that*, clankers!

The MTM medical transportation brokerage plugged in an automated system a couple of years ago. They upgraded it to a full AI based system last year. I actually got it to do a full booking once, and it got it right. I think I was one of a dozen successes. They finally abandoned it.

A good recommendation, to be sure. But definitely not in this case. I don't think Nathan Hale has ever expounded on unicorns or butterflies.

Mar-A-Lago. In the bathroom with the classified documents.

Cats and consent...diametrically opposed.

Nala (a dog) is a bit like that. First time she sees me in the morning she tries to climb up onto me. Trouble is, I'm standing and she weighs forty pounds.

It really is. Black River was flattened. Ochos Rios is just wreckage.

I know it's partly nostalgia at work, but I've been pretty verklempt and crushed. Surprisingly little by way of trauma response despite having gone through Allen. Just feeling helpless and useless and sad.

It took a while before information came through about Mandeville. It was pretty much what I expected -- Mandeville took one of the worst beatings, and Manchester Parish as a while suffered terrific damage and flooding. Cause for concern, too, due to bauxite mining of old.

I can't say you're missing out when it comes to Phoenix.

I'd suggest visiting Bisbee but much as I like this town it's terribly poor on the physical disability front. Like Hotel LaMore where I did a residency....

Yeah. Hopefully it'll change course at the usual point, but if it does it'll just jink north-west. If it's cat 5 by then it might not move, or move enough.

Could be very bad. I guess I should keep an eye on the live cams again.

Sierra Vista, which leans red, had a pretty good showing.

Haven't heard if Tombstone had anybody out. That one's been Trump country for a bit.

Definitely better than Bisbee, AZ, a blue dot in Cochise County. 100+ of a ~4900 population. However, a couple of points...they went out on the 17th, not the 18th, due to a big annual event (the Stair Climb) and it's hard to go bigger because Old Bisbee is compressed and not roomy. 1/2
