Just to follow up on my indie comment, I honestly don’t know who’s big now (besides Effy, Matt Cardona). It has been sorta struggling when the likes of Swerve & his peers got signed to NXT. And folks like Nick Wayne and Billie Starks were suppose to be the “next gen” but were quickly signed by AEW.

Yeah, it all depends. If they’re mature grown adults, it should be fine. If it was a mutual breakup, I can see Will wanting her to get employed with a salary rather than (potentially) struggling. Besides Japan or UK, the indie scene in America is in a weird spot.

Those are the two I can totally see being in AEW, especially Bea. The only reason why she joined NXT UK was due to circumstances (visa, pandemic) of that time anyway. Her joining WWE killed all the buzz she had in Stardom to be honest.

I don’t know if they’re just regular joes. Aren’t they usually depicted as wealthy influential folks with strong ties in politics (and sometimes science)?

The point is that no matter how much Lex works out, he can never be as strong as Superman. And that kills him. But Lex’s super power that Superman doesn’t have is wealth and power.
