Elections have consequences. A man like this never belonged near the levers of power. Not the first time. And certainly not this second time when everything was knowable. We are trapped in a tragedy and must fight our way out.

Requiring foreign visitors to hand over 5 years of social media isn’t “security,” it’s unchecked government control.

All-seeing surveillance systems don’t make us safer. They are in direct opposition to our civil liberties.

Foreign tourists could be required to disclose 5 years of social media histories under Trump administration plan
The Customs and Border Protection proposal would apply even to countries that don't require visas to enter.

Trump is 30 points underwater. Dems swept the special elections. People know the GOP is responsible for the shutdown. So the Dem Senators pulled out their big guns... and shot themselves in the foot.

Stephen Miller said the quiet part out loud. Trump has “plenary authority,” then suddenly went silent. Their plan wasn’t to be public yet. Clearly, someone hit the panic button in his earpiece.

It gets weirder: CNN uploaded the interview with the “plenary authority” comment edited out.

Earlier this year, Speaker Johnson swore in two Republicans less than 24 hours after their elections.

It’s been 17 days since @adelitaforcongress.bsky.social won her election, and she still hasn’t been sworn in.

She would be the tie-breaking vote to release the Epstein files.

Stand Firm: Don’t Cave to Trump’s Shutdown Lies and Threats
Text SIGN PUJTAR to 50409 — America is staring down another government shutdown—not because of real budget disagreements, but because the president has chosen petulance over leadership. Donald Trump walked away from negotiations he himself had agreed to, then claimed that his opponents demanded open borders, “operations for everybody,” criminals on Medicaid, and other absurdities. These claims are distractions, not facts, and no serious policymaker believes them. The real priorities at stake are what the American people care about: affordable healthcare, secure Medicare and Medicaid, protecting public health, and continuing critical medical research. Those are issues worth negotiating. Instead of engaging, Trump abandoned the table and spun fantasies to cover his retreat. That is not strength—it is weakness. Now the White House has escalated even further. Agencies have been told to prepare not just for furloughs but for permanent firings if the government shuts down. This reckless move is intended to intimidate public servants and punish institutions Trump deems disloyal. Experts already warn that such firings are legally and logistically impossible on short notice, revealing yet another hollow threat designed to generate fear, not solutions. Meanwhile, Trump is publicly trying to shift blame, declaring that any shutdown “pain” will be caused by others, even as his own decisions drive the crisis. And the consequences are real: air traffic controller training will halt, worsening staffing shortages that could cost the aviation industry over $1 billion per week. Federal services across the board will stall. The burden will fall on American families—because one president refuses to sit down and negotiate in good faith. A shutdown is never desirable. But surrendering to invented demands and empty threats would be far worse. If Congress caves now, it sets a precedent that lies and bullying dictate the nation’s budget. It tells the public that tantrums, not facts, decide policy. This is the moment to hold the line. Refuse to fund the Trump regime’s agenda without protecting healthcare and public health. Let him own the shutdown he is manufacturing. Show the country that Congress will not be bullied into submission, and that the people’s branch of government still values truth, courage, and the authority granted by the Constitution.

People always used to ask, "How low will Republicans go to protect and pander to Donald Trump?"

Thanks to Ted Cruz, we now have our answer.
Ted Cruz: “How about we all come together and say let's stop attacking pedophiles."

It's sickening to watch the "family values" party defend a pedophile.

California and New York paying taxes to this federal government in 2025 is tantamount to England and France paying taxes to Germany in 1940.

The money is going to be used *against* you.

A Trumper asked me today if I was one of those nutjobs trying to save polar bears.

My reply I think shocked him: No. The polar bears are already dead bears walking/swimming. We can't save them. They will go extinct in the wild. At this point, we're just trying to keep agriculture from collapsing.

Today, Trump declared war on his own citizens, calling for U.S. cities to be used as “training grounds” for troops to confront what he called an “invasion from within.” Americans are a proud people, and no one (foreign or domestic) will threaten our home.

So…let me see if I have this right. The federal government is gonna shut down in 30hrs, and the party that controls the ENTIRE federal government is trying to blame the party that controls NONE of the federal government for the looming shutdown?
