Was wonderful seeing friends and colleagues at this year's CREA Conference. Spent the week engaged in workshops, seminars, and presentations. Met many new colleagues and heard from others about their approach to conducting culturally responsive evaluation and assessment.

In quantitative educational research studies, the presence of measurement disjuncture leads to an increase in the Type II error rate. In manners that are both qualitative and quantitative, measurement disjuncture negatively affects the establishment of measurement validity.
