Planning to write a blog post about my process for cleaning/restoring old controllers and consoles. My results are generally very good, but my methods are likely to be controversial.

Progress! The Xbox controllers all feel pretty good if I'm being honest, even the Duke controller. Need to clean up the XBox S controller which I picked up the other day.

And some proof it works!

Finished fixing the crystal Xbox! This one clearly belonged to a smoker and was full of tar and tar-covered dust. Someone had already done a superficial cleaning and removed the clock cap (thankfully). Very pleased!

Just finished deep cleaning these original Xbox controllers. Looking pretty good!

Got that TV working! Bit of a process and I eyeballed the calibration instead of doing it properly but it's now stable. Very pleased.

Working on this TV. Recap is going well, hoping to have it fixed by the weekend, but the post is being sloooooow.

Some new additions to my collection. I've been a deal fiend recently and paid under the odds for all of these.

First post! I installed the 8Bitdo hall effect stick in my #n64 controller. I'm pretty impressed with it, feels really good! #retro
