Can there be painters on a marketing team? Sure. But people who do no more than fling a random can of paint at the wall and call it done are not painters, and the work they do is not equal to that of a true artist working in the same medium.

If only we had massive datasets based on public messages posted online weighed against political affiliation/leaning and the unprecedented ability to quickly and accurately extrapolate statistical analysis to prove/disprove a claim like that or something.

You seem to suggest it’s a problem that I have a massive stack of college radio shows saved exclusively to DAT that I can’t possibly listen to because my DAT deck died 20 years ago and the only people online who say they fix them still have their web sites on Geocities.

I appreciate the insight. I was thinking more about fonts used on apps like this one, but that 300 character limit wouldn’t let me fully articulate the premise and I was lazy about expounding on it as a threaded post.
