I can berrily contain myself! These are salmonberries. They have a light citrus taste. They mark the beginning of berry foraging season for me.

We have a trail camera on the north side of our house. There's an active game trail there. On Friday my wife showed me a plastic container of fertilizer that had been moved and had teeth marks in it. The game camera revealed the culprit. We call it "the little bear' because larger ones are around!

Sometimes ya just gotta have a juicy jalapeño bacon cheeseburger for lunch. Statins don't fail me now!
