Amazon’s shares have seen a decrease of 13.44% over the last month. The S&P 500's tracking for the same time period posted a loss of 7.69%. That’s almost double.

Some of this loss of value is because the stock market is tanking. The other half is because some consumers are no longer buying their products. Who says ordinary people have no agency?

Cee bought us tickets to see “Come From Away” which tells the true story of the small Newfoundland town of Gander, which unexpectedly welcomed and housed thousands of stranded airline passengers after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, when US airspace was closed. It was brilliant!
