A friendly suggestion: rather than focusing on other events today, I've been listening to MLK speeches this morning, & they're amazing—& very uplifting. As a start, I'd recommend his "Where Do We Go From Here" speech of 1967, which has a lot to say about love & power www.youtube.com/watch?v=3e0C...

Appreciate @derekhunt.bsky.social for sharing flowchart for deciding when to use ChatGPT.

Takeaway: expertise and content knowledge are essential for capacity to evaluate ChatGPT’s output. Maybe an invitation to reconsider ways we develop objectives for skills & content as we design learning?

I created this graphic for my students to discuss the importance of effective study strategies in addition to other factors such as pastoral support, attendance & effort.

What else would you add?

Sleep, exercise, nutrition, monitoring screen time, awareness of distractions ...

A thread of how the MS/HS kids we talk with talk about stress at school:

"My coping mechanism for the stress that you get from school is to just completely stop. You get so overwhelmed that you drop all of it because that's what seems rational."
