RIP folk singer Michael Hurley. I made this anthology zine with friends a lifetime ago. One of my contributions was a comic based on Hurley's haunting "The Werewolf Song" which I was obsessed with at the time.

Art book fairs are a thing where you can find a decent zine and it could be $5 or $500. Find my low-priced comics here today at Boston University 808 Comm Ave from 11-6. I'll be in the hallway where all good comics are.

Excited to see that Hacienda #3 is reviewed in this month's Arrivals and Departures column in The Comics Journal. "Ortega is some kind of narrative virtuoso."

The Indigenous People of North America have decided to go back to calling the Gulf of Mexico, “Chalchiuhtlicueyecatl”. It is what the Nahuatl People originally called it as it is the domain of the goddess Chalchiuhtlicue, who is assoc w/water bodies, including the Gulf of Mexico.
