I don't know what the real reason for this is, but it isn't the ACA credits vote. If enough R's want to restore them, it was going to get a vote. If enough don't, this pity vote will fail.

Except... the conversation isn't really about the story. It's about how the information was obtained, from who, and why the Times thought it was a story at all. Just because people talk about the stupid decision you made doesn't make it a good one.

The only problem with this is the "if" part. I could almost forgive him if he primaried the lot of them and then farked off to Mars.

Look, I know Newsom is doing a great job being combative to Trump. I applaud it, really. Just... can we not forget everything else just because he's better at pushing back than Trump is at pushing? This is starting to sound like Avenatti all over again.

@scalzi.com Finally met John. He is as funny and personable as I hoped. Strangely, despite not having a clue what he sounds like, he somehow still doesn't sound like I expected. Funny how that works.
