While Bluesky is better than X/twitter, I'm still getting a lot of bots and scams. It might just be that I need to get off the computer into the real world? The pen and paper can't be hacked.

My initial reaction is not a very politically correct one. However, the truth is, is that these insurance companies are terrible and people are very angry. Why do we even have insurance companies? The rest of the world somehow is doing ok. Condolences to his family but f*ck insurance companies.

In many ways, the protests in South Korea are a great analogy of the issues in Israel. For many, outside of Korea, we only think about the big boogey man dictator in north korea but forget about the internal issues that everyday koreans worry about (Dior and scallion controversies).

Before the orange child came, and the increasing religious laws in Texas, Florida, and other states, I took for granted books I'm allowed to read here in New York. Very fortunate.. just took out the 'The Handmaid's Tale' by Margaret Atwood. Yes, I know I'm late but I didn't feel the threat before.

Trying to avoid ordering anything from Amazon. Convincing others to do the same is tricky. It's like an addiction that many people have. Instant gratification. Amazon, owned by Bezos, has a lot of control. I have the ultimate control: my own decision not to order things from Amazon.
