This platform is actually pretty crap!
Explain how?

Which Gazan Palies are on the list of war crims? Must be 100'000's...

They did???? So, all the hostages were released alive and well after all?? Hamas leadership did the right thing by their people and came out of their bunkers (covered, head to toe in children) and surrendered??
That must have been the night I missed the news!

I'm not sure that English has a single word that describes waging war with the express purpose of securing the release of your kinsmen, being held hostage, while trying to minimise the number of civilian casualties, who are being used as human shields.

Sounds like she was heavily involved in spreading propaganda. That would have made her a legitimate target.
Just saying...

Release the hostages!
October 20, 2024 at 9:19 AM
Good question.

Perhaps. But some of those policies were only doomed because of the inflexibility and the extremist whims of the Palestinian leadership. It doesn't necessarily follow that the policies themselves were wrong.

Also, as far as I'm aware, the opinion did not call Israel's governance of the West Bank an apartheid.
Very bad journalism from The Guardian!

It wasn't a decision; it was an 'advisory opinion' in a situation where no consideration was given to Israel's position. No fair decision could be made from it, and any that was made wouldn't stand up to international law.
It matters because the opinion is irrelevant if Israel has sovereignty.
July 20, 2024 at 10:21 PM
It was an "Advisory Opinion", not an order.

Have you read either the request from the UN GA or the Advisory Opinion of the ICJ?
Not all the judges agreed that ICJ should have taken it on. Screenshot of Exec Summ of dissent from Judge Sebutinde, with link to doc.

You clearly haven't read that piece as you've failed to comment on the concept that provides sovereignty of everything encompased in the former British Mandatory Palestine, subsequent to the establishment of Transjordan, to Israel.
July 20, 2024 at 8:31 PM
It was a separate case to SA's application. It was an advisory opinion (not a trial) in which Israel took no part. Not all the judges agreed that it was appropriate!

They weren't occupying Gaza on 6th October.

It is forbidden to deliberately attack anyone 'Hors de Combat'. However, you can't decide to have a day off fighting, intending to be in the fray tomorrow, and presume that status. Here's a good place to start if you want to find a caveat to prove me wrong.

So this is your "proof" that Hamas hasn't used hospitals for military purposes, with the added bonus that they provide VIP human shields? ...because WHO said they didn't notice anything? And the fact that the IDF spokesman mistranslated some Arabic writing?

What's the problem with this video? The informant doesn't seem under any form of duress.

Fair enough. But you need to confidently know the rocket thrusts and targets, not just assume.
Analysis of dopler effect sounds plausible. I would imagine you'd need good recording equipment. A normal phone captures too little frequency range.
Most authorities still think it was a PIJ errant rocket.
